Reading and Learning
Author Mentor Speaker
"Think before you speak read before you think"
The Why and the Who, these are the two questions I get asked. So, I will attempt to clarify these critical points. My background is primarily from the corporate world; my position as company Director allowed me to fashion and grow the business. Still, my real learning came form watching and studying those extraordinary individuals that perfected their position and soared above their peers. These were the game changers; those selected few that never stopped growing were never afraid to share their vision and abilities to outperform, make big decisions, and lead from the front.
Paying attention to How is the missing link, this is the voice of many aspiring students.
Many writers focus on the wrapper and not on the content, everywhere we look or read we are searching how to do something, the definition is not always clear; we crave clarity. Yet we are more confused; this is the same when it comes to business its, all well and good for those with experience who run profitable and successful companies, but what about those that are struggling and facing challenges and experiencing difficulties. (If we are to believe the statistics that is 80% of all SMEs will struggle or go out of business in the next twelve months then what are we doing about it!) where do they go to get the information or support they need
In writing my book, I explain how leaders perform and behave, how they can make a difference if only they make some simple but effective changes to their everyday actions, will they experience positive change and outstanding results.
I have tabulated the book to give direction on elements of business where you may need help; there are 29 separate tabs to make it easy to navigate through.
Having run my own companies and worked in the corporate world at a senior level, I have learned from many mistakes some bigger than others. I have mentored many leaders of various sized businesses and have been privileged to help steer many of them to exponential growth and success.
My book is a collection of those experiences, the one thing that I elude to early on in the book is the importance of strength of character, too many leaders today can lose focus of this vital element. I explore how we can move mountains just by being Strong, Decisive, and Consistent.
I hope in some way that by reading this short book I will encourage change and make your journey a success, my passion, as you will read, is you become a great leader, I know that you will achieve, all that you believe.
